We provide workspaces, venues, training and management services in pursuit of our mission.<br><br>The Trampery is London’s leading independent workspace provider, operating a portfolio of architecturally diverse campuses across the city. Each location offers a mix of private studios, coworking, venues and hospitality. <br>The company was founded in 2009 by social entrepreneur Charles Armstrong. In that year it opened East London’s very first coworking space.&nbsp;<br><br>As a purpose-led business, The Trampery actively supports new forms of enterprise that solve social or environmental problems. It also offers dedicated support to entrepreneurs from under-represented backgrounds, helping to rebalance London’s unequal business community. 
Many of The Trampery’s workspaces form part of large-scale neighbourhood regeneration initiatives, working with an array of local governments, private developers, community groups and other partners. Alongside its workspace business, 
The Trampery also delivers a portfolio of future-facing training for startups and large organisations.&nbsp;<br>

<li>Provide strategic leadership and a hands-on approach to managing facilities operations across all sites.</li>
<li>Lead and manage the Facilities team, providing clear direction, support, and professional development opportunities.</li>
<li>Set team goals and performance expectations; regularly review progress and provide constructive feedback.</li>
<li>Act as the primary point of contact for facilities-related issues, ensuring high standards of service delivery.</li>
<li>Foster a positive team culture, encouraging accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.</li>

<div><strong>Facilities Operations</strong></div>

<li>Oversee the maintenance, operation, and overall condition of all facilities across multiple sites.</li>
<li>Develop and implement facilities management strategies to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and long-term improvements.</li>
<li>Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring all facility issues are resolved according to SLAs (Service Level Agreements).</li>
<li>Ensure facilities are clean, well-maintained, and fully operational, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and other systems.</li>
<li>Oversee scheduling of regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of building systems and equipment.</li>
<li>Manage security systems, access controls, and fire safety measures to protect company assets and staff.</li>
<li>Ensure all communal spaces, workstations, and shared equipment are maintained to a high standard.<br><br></li>
</ul>
<div><strong>Financial Management</strong></div>

<li>Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.</li>
<li>Forecast future facilities expenses and allocate budget resources accordingly.</li>
<li>Manage procurement processes for facilities-related services and supplies, ensuring value for money.</li>
<li>Negotiate and oversee contracts with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.</li>
<li>Evaluate facilities-related expenditure and identify opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency.<br><br></li>

<div><strong>H&amp;S Compliance</strong></div>

<li>Ensure compliance with all statutory health, safety, and environmental regulations.</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date documentation, including fire risk assessments (FRA), health and safety policies, and incident reports.</li>
<li>Monitor and address potential hazards and safety concerns in a proactive manner.</li>
<li>Schedule and coordinate health and safety training for staff and ensure it is up to date.</li>
<li>Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.</li>
<li>Oversee emergency response protocols and ensure all staff are informed of procedures.</li>

<li>Lead facilities upgrade and refurbishment projects from planning through to completion.</li>
<li>Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.</li>
<li>Create and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress, deadlines, and budget adherence in collaboration with the Project Manager</li>
<li>Oversee installation and implementation of new systems, ensuring minimal disruption.</li>
<li>Report project outcomes and lessons learned to senior management.</li>
